THE HORSE COURSE

RIPLEY

Ripley and trainer Terri
Student trainer Terri and her assigned horse, Ripley

Ripley has been sold. He will soon be moving to his
new home in Estes Park, CO, to be a Dressage Horse
.

March 6th, 2010
Ripley is a charming grade quarter horse gelding who will most likely go well over 15 hands. Seal brown with a short back and quiet, easy-going temperament, Ripley will be somebody’s dream in Western Pleasure.
Ripley is coming two-years-old in May and already stands tied, stands well for the farrier, leads over any obstacle in his path and absolutely LOVES people. We are working on his constant lipping our sleeves as he was turned into a cookie monster by a previous handler and will start him learning to load into a trailer in the next week or two.
Although we will get him used to wearing a saddle we will not get on him as he is about a year too young for that kind of training. We will offer Ripley as a great prospect and well-trained in ground manners in April.

Ripley was saddled for the first time today (see below) but we will not be riding him as he is too young. He was very easy to saddle and given enough time to grow up, will be an excellent and easy horse to finish training. Ripley should be old enough to begin riding in the spring of 2011
