TRAINED ADULT DOGS AND STARTED PUPPIES

Sometimes an infant puppy is too much of a time and energy commitment for someone who works all day, goes to school or has small children. An infant puppy (one that is under twelve weeks old) is a lot of work.
Occasionally we will have an adult dog or older puppy that is in need of a new home. These dogs are usually dogs that have been kept as a potential show or breeding dog but that didn’t quite make the cut. Or, in the case of some of our puppies, an individual who has shown great promise as either a therapy or service dog and needs to have training completed and the right home found.
We offer these dogs with the same guarantee as our puppies. The benefit to the new owner is that they come housebroken, pre-trained in obedience (for adult dogs) or at least started in these directions for the older puppies.

Happy GloryPensive Glory
Glory
Female, Olde English Bulldogge, NBA Registered,  Born July 5th, 2009,
Fawn and White $1200

Glory is a nice-looking, easy-to-live-with puppy who really wants to do the right thing if she only knew what that was. She’s very willing to please and is aghast if she gets into trouble for doing something puppyish, like stealing a slipper or trying to fit into the toy poodle’s bed (with the toy poodle and her puppies!). Glory loves everyone she meets and is well on her way to becoming a great companion to some very lucky individual.
Glory was to be our donation to a disabled armed services individual who was in need of a trained service dog in order to more easily assimilate into civilian life. However, we had to take Glory out of training as a service dog because she is afraid of sudden,  loud noises (like a pot or pan dropping on a hard surface) so we had to remove her from service dog training. But, because of her lower-than- average energy level and love for people Glory has been selected as a therapy dog candidate. What this means is that we have started training that places her in many different situations involving wheelchairs, walkers and other medical apparatus so that she can become accustomed and acclimated to such things. Although Glory is still a puppy and still occasionally does puppy things she is well on her way to being a great pet and one that can be taken into many situations that might intimidate, frighten or overwhelm many dogs. Glory’s talents are being put to good use. We are not insisting that her new owners keep utilizing her as a therapy dog, but it is nice to now that if someone wants to go in that direction they will have a dog that is already experienced and has started training toward that endeavor.Glory loves children, is crate trained, gets along fine with both big and little dogs and cats and has no obnoxious behaviors or habits. She is a very nice puppy well on her way to becoming a very nice dog. Someone without the time, talent or inclination to raise a puppy from scratch will be very pleased to find this one already started toward being a well-behaved companion.

Glory at Nursing Home

Glory spent time at a nursing home on Thanksgiving Day. She, of course, LOVED everyone and I'm very proud of how well behaved she was.
