Peaches
Peaches is an American Bulldog of standard type. She is directly descended from the Johnson line of American Bulldogs. Peaches weighs in at 95 pounds and she and Moses produce our biggest Olde English Bulldogges. Some of their male puppies have weighed in at over 80 pounds. Peaches is very colorful and typically, she and Moses will produce at least one puppy in their litter with a great deal of color. Peaches’ and Moses’ puppies are usually outgoing, friendly little butter balls who mature slowly but surely into the type of Olde English Bulldogge everyone wants. Deep chest, straight legs, appropriate muzzle length and a huge head. The straight legs insure a properly moving dog with little chance of orthopedic problems down the road. The muzzle length shows proper type, bite, and form, without the AKC bulldog’s characteristic breathing difficulties. Temperament is flawless. Peaches and Moses produce bulldogges who are family dogs, friendly with strangers, devoted to children, yet protective of persons and property if the situation warrants it. 3-26-10 Scout
Scout is Peaches’ granddaughter, the daughter of Lily and Shadow. Scout is an American Bulldog. Weighing in at only 60 pounds, we had been hoping that Scout would grow into a small, slightly bully-looking American Bulldog and our hopes were realized. With her smaller size, our crossing her with Moses should produce a smaller Olde English Bulldogge. Because Scout is still a structurally superior specimen, just smaller than average, her puppies should still have the characteristic look of Peaches’ and Moses’ babies, just in a smaller package. We’re hoping her puppies will stay in the 55 pound range. Scout and Moses’ first litter was born in November of 2007. We are very excited to see how they turn out. Punkin
Punkin is a daughter of Peaches and Moses. She is an Olde English Bulldogge. We have waited patiently for many years to see if the progeny of Peahes, Moses, Lily, and Shadow would show signs of genetic faults such as hip problems, elbow and shoulder problems, temperament flaws, and heart ailments. As we had hoped and expected, none have materialized. This means that we can now breed the offspring with good conscience knowing that this line of Bulldogges does not possess the problems so rampant in other lines. Punkin will be our first Olde English Bulldogge to go on to produce what is called “generation” bulldogges. Currently, our Olde English Bulldogges are what is called “foundation” breeding. We waited to make sure we wouldn’t produce any problems in our line of dogs. Now we can go ahead and breed Bulldogge to Bulldogge creating our own line of purebred Olde English, one generation removed from the American Bulldog. As soon as Punkin is old enough to pass her tests to determine breeding quality, we’ll be looking for a husband for her that possesses the same genetic superiority. Jezebel
Jezzie is one of our newest additions to our breeding line. At only 7 months old, when this picture was taken, she's already showing all the traits we want in our brood bitches. She's conformationaly superior, smart, willing to please, and loves everyone she meets, whether two or four-legged. Assuming she passes all of her genetic tests, she will be added to the line up in the fall of 2010. Lily
Lily was Scout’s mother. She was Peaches’ daughter. We lost Lily to a tragic accident here on the ranch. However, I wanted to include her in our Bulldogge page because her genetics go a long way in showing the superiority of our dogs. Muscular, correct, friendly to all, Lily was a wonderful example of our American Bulldogs. |
