Hi Terry, Hi Toni, Sorry it has taken so long for us to write but we have been VERY busy! Chewbarker...or Chewie is great!! He is the best dog ever! He was a piece of cake to train...he only "goes" in one part of the yard! He snores louder than anyone! He is the biggest baby and sleeps covered up with a blanket! He is a DROOL MACHINE and is completely ruled by his stomach! But he is a sweet sweet boy! His favorite this is to sleep by the fire on his bed covered up with his blanket. Thanks again Terry and Toni, we couldn't have a better addition to our family. Liz, Paul, Thorbin, Gabriel and Chewie, Longmont Colorado
Hello Toni & Terry, We are writing to you to let you know how Dozer Leonardo Phillips is doing. He was 20 weeks Sunday, 2/26 and weighed in at a whopping 42.5 pounds. He is a big boy but solid. He is growing like a weed & we think he is going to be over 60 pounds very soon. When we adopted him from you, he was supposedly the quiet, timid “follower”………how things have changed. He brings us so much joy yet sometimes he makes us want to move out of “his” house. He is so hard-headed and stubborn sometimes and plays deaf a lot but we wouldn’t trade him for the world. He is in puppy classes and they are helping so much. Occasionally he falls asleep in the middle of class, I think because it must be a lot of work being an Old English huh? He graduates this week – Yiiippeeee. He loves the snow so I hope we get more soon. He was potty trained in no time and now he barks at the back door to let us know when he needs out. He is very friendly to humans and dogs, loves to tease our cat and bird but loves kids and other dogs. One of his favorite things to do is to go to the Doggie Park. He can never decide whether to play with the kids or the other dogs. He has really become a member of the family and we are sooooo happy to have him. We are constantly asked where we got him and given several people your website address. We look forward to seeing the new puppies on your website soon. They truly are great dogs. Thanks for making our family complete with Dozer Leonardo. Donna & Isaiah
Hey There Terry and Toni, I just wanted to send you an update on Zoey aka Tinkerbelle and thank you both so much for choosing us as her humans. She is such a fantastic pup and it just floors me that she wasn't the first puppy picked out of that litter. She is so beautiful. Her brindle patch attracts everyone who sees her. Whenever we take a trip to pick up her food, we have to plan on at least being there an hour because we are stopped by almost every person we see. I explain to them about the Olde English Bulldogge breed and have given your number out twice because she has charmed her way into their hearts in just minutes. She is a calm dog and never jumps up on anyone and is always full of love. Her favorite place is by my side or lounging on the couch while Armand does his homework. She already knows when she sees his backpack, it's time for her to snuggle up next to him. She sits there anxiously awaiting the books to come out so she can find her spot. Once she does, it's as if she puts her arm around him and there she goes snoring and loving every minute of it. She is fully potty trained and goes to one spot in the yard. I don't know how that happened but it's great. When I have to work a full day, she will visit my parents and their English Bulldog, Porky. She gets along great with Porky. It's as if they have always known each other. The are too cute together. They play and play until they both fall asleep. The other great thing about Zoey is that she is also potty trained at my parent's house. She is just too smart. My parents are absolutely in love with her and impressed by her. We are currently in group obedience training. She is the youngest in the class and has amazed everyone. She learns very quickly and she really seems to enjoy it. We are in our fourth week and so far she sits and stays for up to 5 minutes, heels and we are currently working on coming when called once. She is an absolute joy to our family and I am so glad to have brought her into our lives. She is the greatest with my son and any neighbor kid that comes around. She has never once snapped at a human. She is the most trustworthy dog and so lovable. We are so happy to have her. Thank you again and when it comes time to getting a second dog, we will most certainly be visiting the Ranch again! Big Hugs, Richael, Armand and Zoey
Hey Terry, I'm sure you're probably getting tired of my constant emails but Romper-Stomper did the most incredible thing the other day and I have to tell you about it. My daughter and I were at the kitchen table doing her homework the other night while [my son] Aiden and Stomper were in the living room wrestling. Before to long Aiden was yelling and Stomper was barking loudly with an extremely agitated tone. I hopped out of my seat and went into the living room to investigate. I came around the corner to see that Stomper had herded Aiden into the far corner of the room, had his butt facing Aiden, keeping him in the corner, and was barking at the opposite side of the room. I turn and look to see what had him so riled only to find that the lamp in that corner of the room had shorted out and was throwing sparks into the air! Very scary! Needless to say I removed the lamp immediately and the commotion ceased. I was so proud of my puppy the way he protected his boy and alerted me to the danger. It was the first time he displayed any type of real gameness/drive and he did it so conscientiously, with perfect control, keeping his wits in a stressful situation. I use hierarchical motivation techniques in training in order to hopefully instill these type of reactions, but I have to admit, he's not quite 16 weeks old, therefore I have to give 95% of the credit to you as the breeder. Your breeding stock, as well as your your methods are truly superior and it shows. You produce some wonderful animals and I am so proud to have one as a member of my family. I just can't thank you enough. Take care... Heath D.
Hey Terry, Just thought I'd drop you a short note to let you know how great 'King Romper-Stomper' (Big-Boy) is doing. The kids just love him, especially my youngest, (Aiden), they are the best of buds! Stomper's house-breaking is going very well. He's only eleven weeks old but only having an accident about every 2nd or 3rd day. I dont think he's quite figured out how to let us know he needs to go outside yet, but he's very close! Stomper has learned to come, sit, speak, and lay down on command! He is extremely stubborn, but very smart. He's also getting very bully looking in his appearance. His shoulders and haunches are getting very thick and muscular, and his head is also becoming quite wide. He is absolutely gorgeous!!! I love his looks! I couldn't be more pleased! At exactly 10 weeks old he weighed in for the vet at 20.5lbs. He is quickly becoming a solid walking block of muscle. Anyway, I took some pictures today; when I get them developed I'll email you a couple. I will also keep you updated to his progress. We feel that he is a true blessing and we all love him very much. Thanks for everything Terry, --Heath and family, Loveland, CO |
